Outfits – California.

Packing for the California trip was a bit tricky, the car shows were smart affairs so I packed dresses and blazers and Panama hats for that. When it came to ‘downtime dressing,’ I was quite relieved to get back into my everyday clothes. When I first visited LA I was surprised to see how casual everybody dressed( blame the Kardashians) but now it makes sense considering LA is now the denim capital of the world. Jeans and denim can be worn for supermarket shopping, meetings and dinners so I decided to dress like a local and mix and match denim as I went along.

Whilst I didn’t buy anything new for this trip I’m always on the look out for good denim. Apart from my smart J Brand’s I prefer my denim to look a little ‘lived in,’ so I look in charity shops or eBay (don’t tell T)! In the day’s I lived in Birkenstocks both the black Arizona and the unbelievably comfortable Madrid Suede Sheepskin. In the evening I added my fringed clutch and pointed lace up heels. The sunshine and relaxed lifestyle makes dressing so simple. Double denim pointed lace up flatsDenim shirt – Zara, Skirt – Vintage Levis, Fringe Bag – H&M, Pointed Heels -Primark.
